The restaurant has a charming origin story — the owner weathered the challenges of the Covid-19 era and came out the other side with something pretty remarkable. In fact, the spot was previously an Italian joint called Carlo’s Trattoria, run by the same owner, who eventually reinvented it as the Landmark Grill with a whole new menu concept.
The Landmark Grill bills itself as a bar and restaurant bringing standout dishes to the Hudson Valley — think burgers, chops, seafood, and inventive cocktails. The menu is a delicious adventure: you’ll find everything from fresh Maine lobster rolls on brioche buns and sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna tacos to a smash burger with two quarter-pound beef patties, plus chicken cutlets tossed in vodka sauce and topped with burrata and basil pesto.
