The Bull’s Head Inn is a family-owned and operated restaurant that has been renovated and restored to its original beauty. Originally an 18th-century farmhouse, it is situated on historic Sarah Wells Trail. A well-known Hudson Valley tale tells of the young and brave Sarah Wells, an indentured servant, who was brought up the Hudson River to reside in Orange County, New York in 1712, making Sarah the first white woman to settle in Goshen Township. Sarah Wells Trail served as the main thoroughfare for early settlers of Orange County. Many of the area’s first buildings were constructed along the trail including this farmhouse which became a dining establishment in 1967.
