Mister Chen seeks to serve authentic Chinese cuisine, which includes food from various Asian cities, including Taipei and Shanghai. After spending the past decade living in Asia, the owners returned home to New York and wanted to bring their favorite foods with them from the far east. The food ranges from Taiwanese beef noodle soup to braised pork belly (from Mister Chen’s old family recipe!) to its famous soup dumplings, which are made fresh daily on premises (patrons can even watch the action).
